Christina Kehl was born in Germany and studied law in Würzburg, Helsinki and Oxford. She founded her first company, an education consultancy, at the age of 19. After working in the start-up scenes of Berlin and London, she came to Zurich in 2013 as co-founder and COO of the mobile insurance broker Knip. In 2014 she co-founded Swiss Finance Startups, Switzerland's first fintech association, and led it as managing director from 2016. For around ten years she represented start-ups towards policymakers, banks and regulators. From 2020 to 2024 she served on the board of directors of Globalance Bank and initiated and led the CAS Digital Insurance at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich from 2017 to 2020. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Digital Transformation Advisory Board for the Swiss Federal Council, appointed as its youngest member. At the end of 2022 she refocused her work on artificial intelligence and the labour market. Today she is co-founder, board member and managing director of the Innovationsverband Schweizer Arbeitsmarkt (ISA), co-founder and chair of the management board of the Graduate School of Applied Technology & Management, and chair of the board of ATLASS Technology. She speaks regularly about AI, work and entrepreneurship and was named one of the Top 100+ Women in AI, Data & Robotics: Switzerland 2026.
