Profile in Forbes Schweiz: «Zukunftslust verbreiten»
Forbes Schweiz profiles Christina Kehl over four pages: from building Switzerland's fintech scene to a fresh start with AI and the question of how people and companies get ready for the change.
In its issue 9/10-2026, Forbes Schweiz runs a four-page profile of Christina Kehl. Written by Klaus Fiala, it describes her as one of the most influential faces of the Swiss start-up scene and traces how, after her fintech years, she opened a new chapter: the transformation of work and society through artificial intelligence.
The article follows her path. Law studies in Würzburg, Helsinki and Oxford, her first company at 19, the start-up scenes of Berlin and London. In 2013 she joined the insurance start-up Knip in Zurich as co-founder and COO, followed by around ten years of representing the Swiss fintech industry towards policymakers, banks and regulators. At the end of 2022 she stepped down from her roles one by one and started afresh in 2023.
Today her focus is the Innovationsverband Schweizer Arbeitsmarkt. According to Forbes, the initiative reaches around 7,700 professionals and runs about 80 free events a year. Together with the Graduate School of Applied Technology & Management and ATLASS Technology, Kehl relies on practical training that is updated every few weeks to new AI developments, including simulations in which leaders practise decisions under realistic conditions.
For Switzerland she calls for new thinking in education and the labour market, and for more support for founders, especially young graduates who are losing the classic entry-level jobs.
«We must not just stoke fears; we simply have to make people look forward to the future again.»
